The purpose of this meeting is to review the application process, discuss match requirements, and address general questions.

Eligibility

This training is limited to counties and municipalities located within the East Arkansas Planning & Development District (EAPDD). EAPDD serves the counties of Clay, Craighead, Cross, Crittenden, Greene, Lawrence, Lee, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett, Randolph, and St. Francis.

Background

Representative Crawford’s office noted concerns about the short notice municipalities received in previous years when submitting appropriations requests. Last year, the submission window was reduced from approximately 30 days to just 10 days. To improve preparedness, they are beginning the process 4–5 months earlier this year and referencing last year’s guidelines so municipalities can be ready when the application window opens.
